Let’s Talk About HA & Business Continuity for Apps in VMware vSphere Environments

August 7, 2012

Hello readers, I’ve got a special invitation for you to join me and Symantec for a webcast dedicated to High Availability and Business Continuity for Applications in VMware vSphere Environments. This should be a nice warmup for VMworld, there are a lot of webinars going on right now, but I promise this one is a can’t miss event. The webinar is sponsored by Symantec, there will be two guest presenters:

Mikko Nykyri, vExpert 2012, Technical Product Manager, Symantec and myself, Greg Stuart, vExpert 2012, @vDestination, Virtualization Blogger

This is not a marketing blah blah blah event. It’s 2 vExperts presenting and talking about what they know a lot about, VMware and Symantec. Here’s a short synopsis on what we’ll be covering, we’ll make sure it doesn’t turn out to be a “death by slides” event:

Server consolidation was the first chapter in virtualization. Getting the maximum ROI on VMware vSphere means virtualizing business critical applications. Traditional solutions that worked for physical servers does not necessarily work for virtual machines. Luckily VMware HA and VMware’s vStorage API’s for Data Protection opened up a number of possibilities – but that is just the beginning. Learn more on how to ensure application availability, storage performance, data protection and business continuity in a VMware environment. Join to hear two VMware vExperts discuss the benefits of leveraging VMware and Symantec together. If you are responsible for VMware administration and/or strategy, this webcast is for you.

How To Register
Everyone is invited, all you need to do is click the registration link and fill out the info needed. The webcast will take place on Tuesday, August 14 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am PDT. There will be an opportunity to ask questions if you so desire. Hope you can make it to the webcast, and better yet, hope to see you at VMworld.
