Welcome to my blog, vDestination.com.  My name is Greg Stuart, I am a systems administrator/network administrator by trade, but have worked a slew of IT jobs in my career.  I started in IT about 9 years ago and have been on the bottom of the ladder (help desk phone service), and worked my way through many interesting jobs.  I’ve put my time in with certification training, A+, Network+, Security+, MCP, CCNA, and more recently VCP4.  Currently,  I work for a large IT consulting firm in Phoenix, Arizona.  Before that I worked mostly in Northern Virginia for another IT firm located in McLean, VA.  I’ve bounced around to a few different companies, but I have to say I owe my whole career progression to the 4 years that I spent enlisted in the United States Air Force.  I learned things in the military that have help mold my career into what it is today.

I’ve been married for 7 years now to a beautiful, intelligent, talented pianist, tennis doubles partner (and some times opponent), amazing hair stylist, incredible Realtor, Yahtzee! nemesis and most importantly dedicated mother.  I have 2 amazing daughters and 1 incredible son.  I spend most of my time trying to be the best husband and father that I can.  Any other time you would find me studying for the next certification on my list. I am a golf enthusiast, I love playing pick up basketball and am a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  We are both native to Arizona, and currently live in Mesa, Arizona (15 minutes east of Phoenix).
