VMworld is fast approaching, my father is heading out to the East Coast to watch the kids for the week (hopefully he survives), so my wife and I can have a nice time in San Francisco. With VMworld 2010 just 16 days away, I thought I would kick off my countdown to VMworld 2010 by creating a daily blog post titled “VMworld, What I’m Most Excited About Today.” Each day up until the kickoff of VMworld 2010 in San Francisco will feature a post of my thoughts on the most exciting virtualization conference in the world.

Today I’m most excited about….

Meeting all of the avatars and bloggers up close and personal. We spend so much time conversing through Twitter, and Facebook, it will be a nice change to walk up to the people I’m following or any of my followers and shake hands and do some networking. Who am I excited to meet, well, everyone really! That being said I’m looking forward to meeting Jason Boche, Stephen Foskett, Scott Lowe, Simon Long, Eric Siebert, Scott Vessey (if he comes to the US conference) and David Davis. All good resources, all vExperts, what an opportunity to meet and network with guys at this level of expertise. Looking forward to it.
