A recent user was having issues with their monitor, this was a ‘golden oldie’ user, in other words from an older generation:

My screen keeps flickering, maybe it’s a bad reception, I keep banging on it but it doesn’t help, I went to Radio Shack and bought a new antenna to see if that would help, but I can’t find where to plug it in…..

Wow, come to find out, the VGA cable was loose in the back of the monitor and every time she banged it, it would flicker. Luckily she kept her receipt for Radio Shack. I can’t make this up.
