Hello World!  Welcome to vDestination.com, you are virtually there.  Let me first introduce myself, my name is Greg Stuart and I am a systems/network administrator by trade.  I was first introduced to VMware in December of 2009, so it has been a quick learning curve to get me where I am today.  I am lucky enough to support an organization that is saturated with VMware products.  This has given me the opportunity to dive in and get my hands dirty in the virtualization spectrum of IT.  I work for an IT consulting firm in Central Maryland that supports a wide range of customers throughout the Washington DC Metro area and outlying areas of Central Maryland.  I created this blog because I want to fire up discussions about VMware and vitrualization in general.  I have really been impressed with VMware and its many solutions to infrastructure streamlining for any organization, small or large.  I really have been soaking up anything I can find on VMware from blogs to .pdfs to VMugs and VMware communities.  I hope that you can bring your expertise and questions to this blog as a central hub for discussion and really just general VMware enthusiasm.

A big shout out to Jason Boche and Stephen Foskett for helping me get into the blogosphere, and all of their really priceless advice on VMware and virtualization in general.  It’s always good to have a few vExperts go to in a crunch, so thanks guys!  A big thanks to all of the other VMware bloggers out there as well, there are just too many to name, and they all bring a really good point of view and great tips to the table.  Please drop by and leave a comment on this blog, I would love to hear what you have to say.

Thanks,

Greg
