The deadline arrived today for VCP4s to upgrade to 5 without having to take the What’s New course. Being that I am a chief procrastinator, I scheduled my exam for the deadline and sat for it today. I’m pleased to say that I’m now a VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 5! I scored better than I thought, and about 70 points better than my VCP4 exam. I studied hard for the exam, and yes, I ate a banana immediately before the exam (a crucial step to anyone taking this test) and all of the preparation paid off. Hopefully the rest of you VCP4s out there are taking advantage of the deadline today, if not, no biggie, keep studying and take the What’s New course. It couldn’t hurt to brush up on vSphere 5. Congrats to everyone else who’s passed the exam already and to those beating the deadline today!
