untitledGot the great news from John Troyer’s announcement Tuesday that I was selected as a vExpert for 2013 by VMware. That’s a huge honor and I am super excited to be a vExpert for the third year in a row! There’s so much that you benefit from being a VMware vExpert, the CTO Party at VMworld is always a big event, the beta programs and the free licenses are huge too, but this year I’m excited at the amount of 1st time vExperts there are this year. Two of the newest vExperts, Larry Gonzalez and Celia Cristaldo are writers for my vLATAM blog that I launched late last year. I’m so proud of them and their achievement, they’ve really stepped it up this year and gone above and beyond their day jobs and are deserving of this award. If you haven’t read any of Celia or Larry’s stuff, check out their posts on vLATAM and catch up with them on twitter, Larry @virtualizecr and Celia @celiacri.

Congrats to all of the other vExperts as well, there were over 500 vExperts selected this year. If you didn’t get selected, try again next year. If you want to know how to increase your chances of getting this award next year, ask Larry or Celia, you are welcome to contact me as well and I will help you out like I did Larry and Celia. Thanks to VMware for making this all possible and big thanks to John and his community team that wades through all the entries every year, you really make the vExpert program awesome. See you at VMworld!
