With only 7 days left to the kickoff of VMworld 2010, my anticipation is just about through the roof. I’ve built my schedule, got my running shoes and training in place for the VMworld 5k Run, got some nice video interviews set up with some of the top experts/bloggers in the field of virtualization, and about 10 party invitations! I’m excited! Today, the thing I’m most excited about VMworld 2010 is hands down the Solutions Exchange. There are over 200 companies signed up as sponsors and exhibitors or both, and I plan on trying to meet with each of them throughout the week, 200 exhibitors, 4 days, you do the math! Here is a quote from the VMworld website about the Solutions Exchange:

The Solutions Exchange features more than 200 companies showcasing the latest virtualization and cloud infrastructure products, services and solutions. You’ll be able to talk with experts from the leading companies in the virtualization industry and get hands on experience with the newest tools and technologies. It’s the perfect place to network, learn and explore.
